Lazada PH: The Best in Online Sales

Online shops are slowly becoming the norm thanks to the power of the internet. If you are looking for something—let's say, a phone or a dress—then the best solution for that would be to go online and look for an online retailer that specializes in that. Most likely, you'll find yourself in a Facebook or Multiply page with a gallery of all the stuff that they are selling. Then you'd have to contact the page owner via comments or text for your purchase. This was how I bought my wares online until I was introduced to Lazada Online Shopping Mall.

Looking around their website, I can certainly say that their website feels different compared to the other online retailers that I have tried. For starters, they have their own website and not just a page from other social media sites. Items are categorized so that you can easily view the items without using the search function of your browser. To order, you can log-in to your own account and this is where you will see the items that you have put in your online cart. To add things to your cart, simply go to the item that you want and add it. It really doesn't get simpler than this.

Just by looking at the description above, I can safely conclude that the user experience is very different. Having a dedicated website with a dedicated team to handle your site is a big difference compared to those who sell retail on the net. Simply put, you know your transactions are being handled by a huge company and isn't your ordinary run-of-the-mill online store.

Lazada Philippines touts itself as the Philippines' Online Shopping Mall and rightly so. Most of the stuff that they sell are the items that you would typically find in the mall and they way they handle each and every order I had was as professional as it can get. I have yet to have any trouble regarding my orders; something that I cannot say regarding my orders with other online retailers.

They also have multiple options for payment which is based around on my convenience and not the sellers. For starters, they have the option to pay using a credit card and that is something that I think all online shops should have. Though from time to time, I have used the other methods such as the Cash on Delivery option an Dragon Pay, but paying through credit card is still the easiest method for me.

I can confidently say that this truly is the undisputed king when it comes to online shopping in the country. I was curious so I did a little detective work and discovered that Lazada Philippines also has an international presence. It can also be found in other countries as well such as Malaysia and Indonesia. It's mother company is Rocket Internet and is based in Germany. This really adds credibility to them in my book. After buying things from them, I hardly consider going to any other online retailer anymore—or even the mall for that matter. Why go to the mall, when the Philippines' Online Shopping Mall is one click away.

  1. Credit card payment has always been the major mode of payment when it comes to online shopping. I'm thankful that others are really researching their market and are considering COD as a major payment option. Lazada belongs to these "others".
