Making an impact to local online consumers

It is undeniable that online shopping came a long way that I never envisioned it to have this much impact in the modern digital time. Back in the days, Internet usage was mainly used to get quick information and the latest news whether it may be local or global. Back then; websites were just basic and not too fancy compared to what we see nowadays. Before, Website is just text-based form, which is dull nowadays when you come to think of it. Online users of today won't have the same patience for the old era of websites. It is quite fascinating to see that as the Internet evolved, websites upgraded as well. Shopping online eventually came in last year, which is a surprise to everyone since no one expected it to arrive in the country. Online shopping wasn't perceived highly by the local online community when it first arrived in the country.

As a matter of fact, the Ecommerce industry in general was struggling to rise. The local Ecommerce scene only changed when website like Lazada Philippines came into the picture. What is surprising is that no one knew what they were when they arrived. Their company name does not even ring a bell of what they are. Initially, they were thought of to flop in the local online scene since Ecommerce wasn't highly regarded in the country. This was the issue that they were facing that is why they need to come up with a solution wherein they offered Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. With this payment method, it allows pretty much anyone to order from their website directly.

The conventional online payment method such as credit cards or PayPal won't matter that much anymore. Customers will just need to visit their actually website online. Once they are on the website they can choose whatever they want and have it directly shipped to their homes. There is no need for them to pay upfront like how it is done the conventional way in online payment. Typically, an online store would require their customers to pay right away. With this online mall, they don't restrict it to that extend. They can hold their money up until their orders arrive and are handed over to them in real time. This eventually helped kill the initial Ecommerce woes that plagued the country.

The trusts of customers are easily acquired with this kind of setup. Anyone given the option not to pay right away will be at ease with his or her deal. It allows anyone to become his or her customers. Besides, if orders don't push through, they can still use it to shop another mall regardless if it is online or offline. This clearly shows that the Philippines' Online Shopping Mall has the disadvantage with this setup. It just shows how confident they are with their service. It's more than just an online store offering products. Their goal ultimate goal is to make a difference in online shopping.
