Lazada Philippines: Things are really changing in the shopping scene

We all love shopping, it’s a fact! Some scientific claims even state that it releases our stress. For some professional and workers, this is their outlet in loosing up from a hard week of work. However, most of them don’t have the luxury to shop due to time constraints with their shift schedule. It is hard for them to physically for to traditional malls. So it is actually a good thing that nowadays, they can rely on online shopping. It all started the moment Lazada came into the online business picture, online competitors run by local businessmen showed up while online shopping continued its rise in the local online market. Surprisingly, the local industry of Ecommerce in country was really struggling prior to their arrival. For most local online users, online shopping is not highly considered option for them. As for the majority of the local online users, whenever they want to buy second hand items they usually go to local online classified ads. A customer would typically go to traditional offline malls when they want to buy something that is new. It's actually not surprise since we all grew up going to traditional offline malls when we need something.

Picking online shopping over offline shopping can save local online consumers more time and money. So how can these help us in our shopping needs? Online shopping can be done anywhere the local customer is located. No more extra spending on travel costing since customers will no longer need to go traditional malls. Lazada wanted to have this issue resolved the local customers in the Philippines. The goal for them is to actually tap the untapped market online in the country. Most of the population in the country is actually non credit cardholder.  Therefore, they are unable to pay online. We can't just rely on trusting online transactions right away. Moreover, online frauds and scams are pretty known in online by the local online community. The online shopping industry in the country is actually on the rise. In fairness to Lazada, it only took them a over a year to establish themselves in the local Ecommerce. Their recent appearance on TVC from top local TV networks during primetime just showed how legit and credible they are to the local online customers
.
A method was formulated by them in order to break the Ecommerce wall in the country. The Philippines' Online Shopping Mall offered Cash on Delivery or more known as C.O.D. as an alternative payment method. This is a payment method that is not usually offered by online businesses. Any online business finds this payment method very risky from their end. It is not a requirement for their online customers to pay right away with this payment method. Once orders are delivered at the customer's address, that's the only time they will need to pay in cash. Scams won’t likely to occur since customers will get to keep their money up until they can see their orders delivered in real time. This is to kill the perception of local online users that shopping at their mall is safe and secured.
