Lazada Philippines: No more struggles in online shopping

The local Ecommerce industry is starting to take over the local online consumers nowadays. As the technology evolves, the demands on using the Internet get higher. This has been happening right before our eyes that most of us may not be fully aware. Just think about the extended options we have in shopping.  Online stores slowly started increase over time. Competition in online malls started to show up and online shopping started to be noticed by local online users ever since Lazada came into the picture in the Philippines. Surprisingly, the local industry of Ecommerce in country was really struggling prior to their arrival. Not everyone found online shopping as a helpful option for addressing shopping needs then. For local consumers who want to buy second hand items, they usually visit local online classified ads.

Traditional mall are usually the go-to source of customers who wants to buy brand new items. It can't be helped since it is part of our culture to visit traditional malls when we want to address our shopping needs. In online shopping, we fail to realize that we can actually save our time and money. What are the benefits we can get if we avail online shopping? They can shop online as they please, wherever that may be. They can actually save more in gas expense since no longer will they need to visit the mall's location. The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall actually wanted to solve this issue for local online consumers in the Philippines. It was actually hard for any online mall to tap the untapped online community of the country. It was probably due majority of the population no owning a credit card, which is the most common payment method in online. It can't be helped that most of us questions the reliability of online transactions.

Majority of us are informed about online frauds and scams that other people encounter when dealing in online. The online shopping industry in the country is actually on the rise. It's really hard to imagine that Lazada has only been here for more than a year yet it contributed dearly on the Ecommerce industry. To showcase that they are legitimate as they can be, they had some TVC slots during primetime on top local channels. What did they do to break the Ecommerce limitation in the country? They offered Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. to their customers as an alternative payment method. This is very unconventional payment method that is presented by any online mall. Actually, it's a payment method that is quite risky for any online business. Customers are not actually required to pay upfront; instead they can pay once their orders are delivered at their homes. Customers will only need to pay in cash once their orders arrive at their doorstep. Their customers won't need to worry since they get to keep their money until their orders are delivered. This is to kill the perception of local online users that shopping at their mall is safe and secured.
