Lazada Philippines: Choice of convenience in shopping

Traditional shopping nowadays is a bit troublesome on certain aspects. There is the effort to actually leave your home to go to the location of the mall. Not only you waste your energy but also spend extra cash on travel expense. Essentially, you are spending more than what you think you are spending whenever you shop. Good thing that we now have online shopping as an alternative way for shopping. Shopping is no longer a time issue for most of us. To them, nighttime for them is their daytime to us. These are the consumers who have unusual schedule and is asleep in daytime. This doesn't allow them to have a normal lifestyle like visiting the malls on a regular mall hours. Unlike most of us, they can't visit any malls. Traditional malls are only available to them when they don't have work. This is clearly harder for people who work on different time schedule. It actually benefits them now that online shopping is an available option. Most of the business is now being put up online.

As a matter of fact, it only happened last year in the country. Once Lazada arrived in the country, other online malls followed them. Actually, they are one of the first online malls to arrive in the country. They can be availed also in other South East Asia countries. The Philippines’' Ecommerce grew significantly after they arrived in the country. It can't be helped to learn that they made a huge impact on the local online scene. It actually made sense to launch it in the Philippines since the competition is non-competitive. Their challenge is how they will lure Internet users to visit their online mall. It was hard for them to lure people since online payment is a trouble for most online users. It is because exposing our credit card details online is quite dangerous.

Actually, credit cards are not widely used in the country. Ecommerce in general really had hard time growing in the country because of these limitations. This doesn't translate for local online users not being familiar with online payment. A customer in general judges an Ecommerce website right before it is given a chance to introduce themselves to their market. Most of the time, we just ignore online malls probably because we are new to it. To us, it's all put up to scam local online users. This makes online shopping very hard to penetrate just basing on these two issues. They solved these Ecommerce woes when they arrived in the country.

The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall introduced an alternative payment method called Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. Customers can pay only after their orders have arrived and are handed over to them with this payment method. It is sort of a security for any customer since they get to keep their money up until exchange is done in real time. This allows customers to try shopping on their mall even if it is their first time to try online shopping.
