Lazada Philippines: The market in Internet

Internet and mobile technology integration is taking it to the next level. Initial both started on its own as a separate tool to make things easier for us. Eventually, it changed everything, as we know it. There's no doubting that online shopping is a rising industry in the Philippines. Surprisingly, this is a shock for most of us when we think on how it was looked down upon by most local online users. It's no secret that both online and offline frauds happen at high rate in the Philippines. Logically, this makes local online users shy to shy away from online transaction. Local online classified websites were the premiere local website for mostly local online users in the buy and sell industry. The arrival of local online malls in the country was actually prepared by these local online classifieds.

A community of marketplace was eventually built thanks to these local online classifieds. It was difficult for online users to buy online when local online classified websites didn't exist yet. It became a venue for pricing benchmark on the items that user want to buy. Its purpose was stretch to new lengths and allowed Internet to be more than what it used to for customers. Various visitors on these kinds of websites go there to buy and sell. This allowed local online users to have more options on which third party resellers will they are dealing with. Offline transaction is done here most of the time. Group buying website also have this contribution to the local online users. They guided the people for the arrival of Ecommerce in the country. By the time of Ecommerce website launching, local online users were already prepared. Online shopping to local online users have more upside than downside. Great deals were mostly found on group by websites by local online users. With the great deals being offered by group buy websites; it makes it harder for customers to refuse them.

Lazada Philippines was launched a year ago in the country. It is actually an online mall venture launched across South East Asia. They are being back by Rocket Internet, which is owned by Samwer brothers. The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall made an impact in the local Ecommerce industry through its payment methods. A lot of online payment methods are available for customers to make it easier for them. In online, online stores allow its usually only credit card or PayPal payment. The conventional way of online payment is actually hard for most local customers since they don't have either of the two conventional payment method online. Local online consumers were introduced with Cash on Delivery as their alternative payment method online. It allowed them to tap the untapped market online in the Philippines. As a matter of fact, this is the majority market in the country.  Since the entire market is now open in Internet, it definitely helped Ecommerce thrive in the country.  Most of us are now even online most of the time rather than offline.
