Lazada Philippines: An Ecommerce giant in the country

Shopping has never been this easy as compared to our early days in online. On top of offline shopping, it's great that we have online shopping as an alternative. Shopping is no longer a time issue for most of us. During at night, that's when they are only active and have little free time to do what they want. These are the customers who don’t have free time in daytime and are at work at night. They are only free when mall hours are actually closed. Unlike most of us, they can't visit any malls. These customers can only visit traditional mall when they are off from their work or business. This is clearly harder for people who work on different time schedule. Good thing they can now rely on online shopping to address their shopping needs.

Currently, were no going online where you see a lot of offline businesses migrating to it. This shopping craze only started last year in our country. After they arrived in the country, others followed on their footsteps. It is one of the first online malls to be established in the Philippines. They can be availed also in other South East Asia countries. This also gives them more credibility since they exist at an International level. The more people know it Internationally, the more chance it will be talked about online.  This just shows how big they are in the online industry.

Ecommerce quickly rose once Lazada arrived into the local online scene. They can actually take credit for their influence on the local Ecommerce scene. Since there is no competition in the local online scene, it made sense for their move to launch it in the country. Their challenge is how they will lure Internet users to visit their online mall. Online payment is a problem for most people that are why it was harder for them to be lured. It is because exposing our credit card details online is quite dangerous. As a matter fact, only of few of the local online users have their own credit cards. This is the reason why Ecommerce struggled early on to thrive in the country.  A lot of it was merely a common issue in shopping.

This doesn't mean that local online users are not familiar with online transactions. A customer in general judges an Ecommerce website right before it is given a chance to introduce themselves to their market. It's only because we don't give online malls a chance. To us, it's all put up to scam local online users. It's pretty clear that these two alone makes Ecommerce a tough market to crack. The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall came out with something to solve these Ecommerce woes that plagued the country for so long.  The Philippines’ Online Mall introduced an alternative payment method called Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. No longer will customers be required to pay upfront only until they actually receive their orders once it is delivered at their very homes.
