Making Ecommerce a better Industry in the Philippines

Investing business on the Ecommerce industry in South East Asia is actually very challenging for most prospect business investors in the past. It can't be helped since only a minority of the market can only pay online at that time in South East Asia. Credit cards are only owned by a few among the entire online population. For the few who do posses a credit card, not all of them are convinced in online transactions. A lot of the online users are actually aware of online frauds and scams that's why it's no surprise at all. Credibility is usually questioned on online businesses as compared to offline businesses. Since offline business is done in person, it gives us a security blanket over online transactions.

But, where not actually considering legit online business that offer better deals over offline. While offline malls pay rent for their store boutique, it doesn't allow them to give high discounts unlike online stores who can easily give them out since they don't pay rental fees. It's the edge of online stores since they can offer better discounts and promos. It's inevitable for any online store offer it since it's their only weight to make sure customers will choose them over offline malls. Lazada Online Mall is a good example that is also available in South East Asia.  Their venture here in the Philippines is one of the first to offer various selections that we only see on traditional local malls. They were the first to introduce C.O.D. or Cash on Delivery payment method in the country. Ultimately, it paved way for them to become one of the key players in the country. Despite just turning one year of existence last April, they managed to become of the key players in the market. 

Since last year, most of their competitors showed up from nowhere. It only signifies that the local businessmen are now open to the idea of having a local online business since their arrival in the Philippines. Time will only tell on how online shopping will become in the future. Their unconventional approached helped them reached out to the local customers and eventually win them over. Now that they can avail C.O.D. customers who are only able to pay online can become customers but anyone who can pay cash as well. This increased the current market audience since majority of the local online users can only pay via cash. Besides have an awesome alternative payment method, they also offer free delivery availability as long as the transaction value exceeds one thousand pesos. They will waive the shipment fee if it exceeds one thousand marks. It makes it easier for customers to choose online shopping over offline shopping since they offer Cash on Delivery with Free Delivery availability. This makes it easier for them to decide online shopping should they be first time customers. These two options combined are very enticing options since customers can be assured they won’t be scammed.
