Alternative payment methods that makes shopping easy

I was once am online shopping skeptic but my viewpoint changed when I got to experience how online shopping is in Lazada with its huge selection of high quality items that will surely satisfy all your shopping cravings. But there is one thing that I really dig about shopping in Lazada. You know what that is? It is the payment system that they offer. It may not seem to be that important but the payment method is one of the primary considerations that you have to make if you are to go online shopping because of the virtual nature of online shopping. It is also one of the reasons why online shopping was not as big as it is right now in the country.

Going back to a little history of local online shopping, online shopping payment methods before was only locked in to credit cards. It is the sole payment method that a lot of online shopping websites offer because it is convenient in terms of payment collection by merchants and that it already has established procedures that makes it highly reliable. That exclusivity however, placed a limit on online shopping and e-commerce’s market potential and reach at least speaking from a developing country standpoint (although in developed countries, non-credit card holders are only a small fraction of the market) where not a lot of people has the access to financial services like credit cards. Now moving forward to our contemporary times, a lot of online shopping companies came up with alternative payment ideas in their effort to capture untapped market segments and broaden their customer base. One of those companies is Lazada Philippines.

The company is one of the first online shopping entities to offer alternative payment methods outside of the credit card fold. The main focus of that move is to capture the average shopper’s interest and get him to shop online by letting them pay without that many requirements as in the case of using credit cards hence they introduced the cash on delivery payment service. The cash on delivery payment system hits home for most local shoppers because not a lot of them are able to comply with the requirements of credit card membership and also for some reason as much as a cash strapped country that we are, we love to pay in cash. I personally own a credit card but prefer utilizing the cash on delivery payment method when I do my online shopping in Lazada. It is my go to payment method for the main reason that it does not take a lot to do it. It is very easy to use and simple. It makes online shopping as easy as buying eggs from your neighborhood sari-sari store. There’s no anxiety while waiting for your item to arrive because you have not paid for it yet anyway unlike how it is when you are paying with your credit card. The worry about not getting the item looms in the horizon until you actually got to get your hands on the item you ordered. That is just my two cents though and I would say that Lazada’s credit card payment system is also one of the best around and the safest too even though I don’t use it frequently. Overall, the company has the best payment processing system and that is what got me into shopping here.
