Lazada Philippines: Ecommerce taking a huge step in Asia

There was a time in online where people barely use it on daily basis and prefer doing everything online instead. This may be because it was still a new platform for us and that we don’t know exactly how to maximize it usage. Initially, for us, it was a merely a tool information probably for research in school or office. Now, connecting online gives you a variety of options on what to do with it. You can communicate online around the world or even shop on Ecommerce websites. The Ecommerce industry in South East Asia is challenging for any potential investors during mid 2000. One reason is the market audience that is capable to pay online then was really low. Only little of the population owns their credit card. For the fraction that owns a credit card, not all of them even consider transaction online. It's no surprise that it's the reaction in South East Asia since online frauds and scams happen most of the time. It's only logical for any person to trust offline business over online business. Since in offline business we can deal face to face, we feel more secure in proceeding with a transaction. But were actually failing to take a good look on legit online malls that may offer better deals. Online malls usually offer lower pricing compared to traditional offline malls. By offering great discounts and promos, it allows online stores to be more enticing. It's almost a requirement for any online store since they need to convert offline customers to online. Online shopping mall like Lazada is an example of an online store that is also launched in other countries of South East Asia. The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall is an online mall that offers one of the biggest selections in the country, similar to what we see on traditional malls. The Philippines' Online Shopping Mall introduced Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. as an alternative payment method on their store. It's clearly the reason they immediately made an impact up to now in the market. They just celebrated their first ever anniversary, yet they already achieved a lot for short time. Their competitors actually only showed up when they arrived last year. It only proves that they showed to the locals the potential of Ecommerce in the country. All we can do is just watch as it unfolds in the future. With their unconventional approach, they managed to win the hearts of the local market. With C.O.D., anyone can become customers since they can pay in cash. It dramatically increased the number of potential customers since anyone can pay in cash. On top of their alternative payment method breakthrough, they also offer free delivery as long as the transaction value exceeds one thousand pesos. They are willing to waive any shipment fee that have a value more than one thousand pesos. Customers can easily be enticed to pick online shopping over traditional offline shopping by offering Cash on Delivery of Free Delivery availability.
