The Trade of Fakes

They say imitation is the best form of flattery. But when it comes to trade, it may mean dwindling profits for originals and pioneers but rising profits for imitators. In business, there will always be creative ideas that sell and others will take advantage of this breakthrough. But when it leads to a much greater toll/effect on not just the original makers but also to consumers, that’s when opinions/concerns are thrown and actions are implemented to control what started out as a harmless copycat flattery.
