Lazada’s service receives nationwide approval

As featured in multiple magazines, television commercials, newspapers and many more, Lazada Philippines is one of the masterpieces of Rocket Internet that has now officially become the Best Online Shopping Mall for 2013. An honor awarded by the prestigious award giving body, the Golden Globe Annual Awards. When it started its business venture February of last year, very few Filipinos knew about how good they’ve got it. But now, more than a million Filipinos have become part of the shopping mall’s long list of satisfied customers. Because a foreign company owns it, not a lot thought it would be successful in making a Filipino-centered online store. But contrary to what the majority thought, it is now one of the most visited ecommerce websites in the country.

It accepts cash and credit card payments in all types of product transactions. With over 20000 products, it kept its online storage organized by putting it in over 10 categories (Mobiles & Tablets, Computer & Laptops, Consumer Electronics, Cameras, Home Appliance, Health & Beauty, Home and Living, Toys & Babies, Watches, Travel & Luggage, Sports, Books, Music & Movies, Lazada High Street, and the all new Fashion By Lazada) High Street is a compilation of the best-priced products under mobiles, tablets, laptops, fashion accessories and home-related items. Fashion by Lazada on the other hand is a magazine-inspired section on the website where they put together clothes for both men and women to serve as inspiration.

Its customer service has been praised countless of times. It accommodates Filipinos all over the country through nationwide delivery, multiple service centers, return policy, service hotline, etc. And now it has its very own mobile application to make purchasing from its site a lot faster and easier. But these characteristics are also observed in its other counterparts in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Its affiliates in the country are Zalora Philippines and Price Panda. The return policy is a customer right wherein they can return any of their orders for a refund or exchange. There are certain requirements needed to be able to declare an item eligible for a return. First, a return form must be submitted. The product must be returned within 14 days in its original package. The condition must the same with when it was delivered. If the product came with freebies, these must also be included to be accepted. Customers can return any item through LBC or 2GO, the official couriers of the company. In case the product is defective and was not the direct fault of the shopping website, it must be brought to the service center (Mac laptop to Apple).

Lazada is very good at complying with its promises. It has a 100% success rate in customer satisfaction and as a very competitive business venture, its goal is to continue to please its customers through improving its services, product rates and product selections. In a decade, Rocket Internet became a worldwide success. Lazada after a little over a year became a nationwide phenomenon. Who knows how far it’ll go after half a decade?
