Lazada Philippines Review: Ensuring customers can depend on online malls

A lot of the local online users were actually surprised of the arrival Ecommerce in the Philippines a couple of years ago. Most of them even doubted that it would ever start to rise in the country during the early to mid 2000. It is when Lazada Philippines came into the local online business that helped Ecommerce to rise as an industry in the country. It is also the same time when online competitors also showed up to competed with the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall. Actually, Ecommerce was a struggling in the industry prior to their arrival in the country. For most local online users, online shopping is not a highly considered option for them. Probably the unfamiliarity and denial of accepting change of their shopping contributed to its early disregard.

Majority of the local online users visit local online classified websites when they are looking for second hand items. Customers who want to buy brand new items often visit traditional malls. We were actually raised that way wherein we go to traditional offline malls when we need to buy something. In online shopping, we fail to realize that we can actually save our time and money. So why do we need to choose online shopping nowadays? With online shopping, local online customers can shop wherever they may be. Customers can now save money spent on usual travel expense going to the location of traditional malls. Lazada wanted to have this issue resolved the local customers in the Philippines.

It was difficult for online malls to tap the local online market of the country. Most of the population in the country is actually non-credit cardholders; therefore they are unable to pay online. There are still some questions on the reliability of online transactions. With Internet, online frauds and scams will always be present in online transactions. We are now entering the era in the Philippines where Ecommerce is making a mark. To see the progress of Lazada online mall making an impact on the local Ecommerce is quite amazing. They even showed up on TVC on top local channels such as ABS-CBN in the country during its prime time airing, which showed how credible they are as a dependable online mall in the country.

What solution did they come up with in the usual Ecommerce woes in the country? They called Cash on Delivery or C.O.D offered an alternative payment method. This is a payment method that is not usually offered by online businesses. The reason behind is that not all business in online will risk their business for this payment method. It is not a requirement for their online customers to pay right away with this payment method. They will only need to pay cash once they received their orders in real time. This enables customers to keep their money up until their orders are handed over to them in real time. The reason for this is to ensure customers that they won't be scammed if they deal with them.
