Its
easy to state that Lazada Philippines has set the benchmark when it comes to
making a name for local e-commerce. Before Lazada Philippines was conceived the
market for online shopping was cornered by international companies and there
was virtually zero presence of local market goods on the information
superhighway. You wont find any place to buy your favorite local brands online
and only a few blog sites attempted to tap into the e-commerce network with few
insignificant peddled goods and products that no one really wanted to purchase.
Even with the popularity of Facebook, Multiply and Sulit.com the expanse of
internet trade and commerce was very limiting to products that other people
wanted to dispose of, not led by demand and consumer want.
Lazada
Philippines keyed on the essential demand for the Philippine market when it
went live – it started to provide shoppers the unique experience of purchasing
goods they actually have on their wish list and made a method of purchase which
was almost unheard of before they waved their flagship merchandise! It was
paradise for the local Philippine shopper.
A
unique experience for Shoppers
A
truly remarkable experience is what most first time shoppers at Lazada
Philippines would remark about their purchase experience. How so? Well just to
talk about the free delivery option for online purchases were unheard of until
Lazada came into the picture. It’s almost unbelievable for a lot of people to
fathom that they get their online purchases with no extra charge. In our
country, people are used to the idea of no free gifts when it comes to what you
buy. Want to get Fast Food delivered to your home? Pay an extra P50.00 Need to
have the furniture you bought from the mall sent to your doorstep? It’s an
additional P500.00. This is the commerce culture that many local businesses
have embedded in our minds, so when Lazada Philippines came out with free
delivery, it was almost too good to be true- but it is. The convenience of
shopping in your living room in your jammies whilst not having to pay for steep
shipping charges is just too good to pass up.
Another
Lazada-first is the 7-day return policy
which gives us shoppers the power to send back an item if it proves to be
unsatisfactory, with a small condition of paying for return shipping. If the
product is damaged however, Lazada is
willing to pay for the return shipping amount as well. I’m really happy about
how Lazada has reshaped the way shoppers look up to the e-commerce sector in
our country.

ReplyDeleteThey go heavy on paid advertising. Do you happen to know where on the internet they had said how much they spend on paid advertising in a month? I had checked a website but not totally an e-commerce like lazada, it's more on the classified ads website. I've heard stories people's business had a tremendous growth in their sales just because of Naka Menos Philippines.
